Eligibility for DGCA ATPL Exams
Age: Must be 21 Years of age at the time of application.
Medical: He shall produce on a prescribed performed a certificate of physical fitness from an approved Medical Board after undergoing a medical examination, during which he shall have established his medical fitness on the basis of compliance with the requirements as notified by the Director-General under Rule 39B;

Flying Experience:
A minimum of 1500 Hrs of flying is required; out of which 150 Hrs must be in the last 12 months. His/ Her total experience shall include:
500 Hrs of flight time as Pilot-in-Command or as Co-Pilot performing under the supervision of a pilot who fulfills the flying experience requirements of a Check Pilot.
Out of the above 500 Hrs of flight time, 200 Hrs must be Cross-Country including 50 Hrs of Night Flying.
Minimum 1000 Hrs of Cross-Country flight time

Flight teaching is a course of study used Best flying training in Delhi when education to pilot an aircraft. There is no conservative learning or copious learning involved when it comes to the pilot training course but a sequence of written and medical tests and hands-on applied flying time and teaching that help the student proceed through the course. Classroom exercise includes teachings on-air rules, aviation meteorology, etc. There are around many Flying/Pilot Exercise colleges in India. The eligibility criteria for admission to Flying/Pilot Training Colleges in India are as follows:
For the Student Pilot License (SPL)
- The minimum age of the candidate must be 16 years.
- The candidate must have passed the Class 10 examination.
- The candidate must clear all the fitness tests and have a bank guarantee of Rs 10,000.
- This is followed by an oral test and a Pilot Aptitude Test.
Note: Passing all this will get her or him through the college of their choice.
For the Private Pilot License (PPL)
- The minimum age of the candidate must be 17 years.
- The candidate must have passed the Class 12th examination.
- The candidate must possess a medical fitness test from the Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME) or the Institute of Aviation Medicine (IAM).
For the Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- The minimum age of the candidate must be between 18 and 30 years.
- The candidate must have studied Physics and Maths in their Class 12th.
Note: The newly revised laws by the Government of India have stated that the CPL is to be granted only with the prior three years of experience with PPL.
Also, if a student has to rise through the levels, starting from SPL, then they must:
- Complete 15 hours of dual flight time with the instructor.
- Clock in 60 hours of flying time of which 20 has to be solo and learn lessons on aviation and flying as well.
After acquiring the PPL, to be eligible for CPL, there have to be more than 129 hours of flying, making it a total of 250 hours.

Eligibility :
10+2 or it’s equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent marks in mathematics and physics.
At least 16 years of age to start pilot training.
Vision in one eye must be perfect. (6/6 eyesight) On the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function and get your DGCA Class 2 Medical.
