Type Training
BASICS OF TYPE TRAINING FOR PILOTS
Pilots are required to undergo type training in order to become certified to fly a particular type of aircraft. Type training is a comprehensive course that covers all aspects of a particular aircraft. It includes everything from basic aircraft systems and operations to advanced instruments and navigation.
The first step in type training is to become familiar with the aircraft. Pilots must learn the aircraft’s systems, controls and operating procedures. This includes understanding the engines and how they work, the fuel systems, the electrical systems, and the navigation and communications equipment.
Next, pilots must learn how to fly the aircraft safely and efficiently. This includes learning how to properly manage the aircraft’s speed, altitude and direction. Pilots must also learn how to use the aircraft’s instruments and navigation systems in order to fly the aircraft accurately.
Finally, pilots must learn how to respond to any potential emergencies. This includes understanding the aircraft’s emergency systems and procedures, as well as how to handle any situations that may arise.
Type training is a critical component of a pilot’s education and is designed to ensure they are proficient and safe when operating a particular aircraft. Without proper type training, pilots could be putting themselves and their passengers at risk.

A320
In the world of commercial aviation, A320 is one the most frequently used aircraft. Is outfitted with the Fly-By-Wire system which copulates the analogue pilot controls into digital electronic signals via wire transmission.
A320 is India’s market leader in the Single-Aisle Jetliner industry and one of the best selling aircraft in the world. Airbus has also developed its own Cross-Crew Qualification (CCQ) concept that enables pilots to transition from any Airbus fly-by-wire equipped type to another simply through difference training. For e.g. a transition from A320 to A380 would take a mere of 15 days.
The A320 type-Rating ensures that pilots remain relevant and have the opportunity to pursue successful careers in the ever-expanding aviation industry.
